Glossary

Agent. An assistant set up for one job, with its own instructions, model and tools. Kala, Tattva and Image Studio are agents. See What are agents?

Agent Builder. Where you create and edit your own agents, in the left menu. See Build your own agent.

Agent Marketplace. The list of agents shared with everyone at Kapiva, in the left menu. See Agent Marketplace.

Allowance (daily allowance). Your fair share of Manas use, counted in credits. It tops up once a day when you run out. See Your daily allowance.

Artifact. Something Manas makes that you can open on its own, such as a web page, a chart, a diagram or a small app, shown next to the chat or as a page on manas.kapiva.tech. See Artifacts.

Balance. How many credits you have left, shown in the account menu.

Budget. The word Manas uses in Slack for an allowance. A Slack channel has its own budget, separate from yours.

Busy message. What you see when all the shared Claude or ChatGPT capacity is in use. Wait about 20 seconds or switch model.

CIF (Creative Insight Framework). Tools that gather what customers search for and say, and what competitors advertise, and turn it into ad ideas. See CIF.

Cloud computer. Your own private computer in the cloud, with a web browser, files and Google Drive, that the Computer agent uses for you while you watch. See Cloud computer.

Connected tool. A service Manas can use for you, such as Kala, Tattva, Google Drive or ChatGPT Images. You see them in MCP Settings in the left menu, and some in the tools menu under the message box.

Credits. The unit your allowance is counted in. A quick question uses a few thousand; a long, careful answer uses much more.

Frames. In Kala, the first picture of each scene, made before the video so you can check it.

Hand-off. When one agent passes your request to another agent better suited to it, for example Manas passing a video request to Kala. The answer comes back in the same reply. See How agents hand off.

Live view. The screen of your cloud computer, shown inside the chat. See Live view and control.

Manas. Kapiva's AI workspace at manas.kapiva.tech. Also the name of the general Manas agent that answers everyday questions and hands requests to other agents. See The Manas agent.

Memory. Useful details about you, such as your preferences and your work. Ask Manas to remember or forget something and confirm the card, or edit it in Memories. The agent you chat with uses it in Manas web and in your Slack DMs; channels have no memory. You can switch it off. See Memory.

Model. The AI that writes the answers: Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. You pick one in Select a model at the top of a chat. See Choose a model.

Project (Manas). A group of related chats in Chat History. See Projects.

Project (Tattva). A space in Tattva with its own data and definitions. Tattva answers from the projects you belong to.

Prompt. What you type to ask Manas something. Prompts in the left menu is a library of saved prompts you can reuse. See Prompts and presets.

Remote access. The kind of sharing that makes an agent usable from Slack. See Share an agent.

Run Code. A tool that lets the model write and run a small program to work on your data, for exact totals, charts and files. See Run code.

Scheduled chat. A prompt that an agent runs for you on a schedule, such as every weekday at 9:00. See Scheduled chats.

Shared link. A link to a copy of one of your chats that other people at Kapiva can open. See Who sees what.

Skill. A packaged set of instructions an agent loads when it's relevant to your request. See Skills.

Slot. One answer being written at a time on the shared Claude or ChatGPT account. Claude has 4, ChatGPT 2.

Tattva. Kapiva's data analyst at insights.kapiva.tech, which you can ask from Manas. See Tattva.

Temporary Chat. A chat that isn't kept in your history and is deleted automatically.

Thinking. The panel above some answers that shows how Claude or ChatGPT worked towards the answer. You don't need to read it.

Web search. A tool that lets Manas look things up on the web and show its sources. See Web search.
