The Manas agent
Kapiva's general assistant, which answers everyday questions, knows Manas inside out and hands off to the right agent.
Manas is Kapiva's general assistant. It is the agent that answers when you DM Manas or mention @Manas in Slack, unless you or your channel picked another one. In the web app you can chat with it too.
Start a chat with Manas
Click Select a model at the top of a chat, open Agents and choose Manas.

Send a DM to @manas, or mention @Manas in a channel. Manas answers by default. See Manas in Slack.
What it knows
Manas knows Manas itself, so you can ask it how to do things:
- Which models there are (Claude, ChatGPT and Gemini) and how to pick one.
- Which agents are in the Agent Marketplace, what each is for, and which ones you can use in Slack.
- Which tools Manas has and where to switch them on.
- What's new in Manas, with links to the how-to guides.
- How to use Manas in Slack:

It also knows where you are. In Slack it talks about Slack (for example +kala or Switch agent); in the web app it talks about the web app (the model menu, the tools menu, attaching files).

What it does itself
What Manas does itself, and what it hands to another agent.

When it hands off
When another agent is built for the job, Manas passes your request on and that agent answers in the same reply:
- Pictures made or changed → Image Studio
- Videos, video scripts and ad frames → Kala
- Questions about Kapiva's own figures, when you haven't given a file → Tattva
- Big files, video or audio edits, websites and long jobs → Computer (web app and your Slack DM)
- A request that matches an agent shared with you → that agent
- Saving, changing or deleting a skill → Manas Builder (

In the web app, your next message goes to Manas again. In Slack, the thread stays with the agent that answered; Image Studio, Tattva and Computer hand anything that isn't their job back to Manas, which answers it or passes it on.

What it won't do
- Change settings for you. It tells you the exact command or setting, such as
/manas settingsor Share → Remote access. - Send you elsewhere. It tells you how to do the job in Manas (the model, the tool or the agent to use), not in an outside product.
- Make things up. It doesn't invent features, agents, numbers or links. If it doesn't know, it says so and points you to manas.kapiva.tech/whats-new.
Good to know
- Manas runs on Gemini. Its answers use your daily allowance like any chat.
- In a Slack channel, Manas answers as the channel, not as you. It can't use your Google Drive, Gmail or Calendar there; DM Manas for that. Drive links pasted in a channel can still be read, after you allow it.
