Getting started with Manas

Sign in

1. Go to manas.kapiva.tech and click Sign in.
2. Choose Google and sign in with your @kapiva.in account. There is no separate Manas password.
3. You land in a new chat. The first time you sign in, your Manas account is created for you.

Bookmark manas.kapiva.tech. When you are signed in it takes you straight to your chats. Links to a chat open that chat.

Your first chat

1. Pick a model from the menu at the top of the chat: Claude, ChatGPT or Gemini. Not sure? See picking a model.
2. Type your question and press Enter.
3. Add what you need from the tools next to the message box: files, web search or Run Code.

Daily usage limits

Everyone has a fair daily allowance, so Manas stays fast for everyone. It is counted in credits:

• You start with 10,000,000 credits (about a week of normal use).
• When you run out, you get 5,000,000 more once a day has passed since your last top-up. It is added the next time you send a message, so just send again.
• One allowance covers everything: Claude, ChatGPT, Gemini, chat titles and memory.
• Long, careful answers use much more than quick ones. Long chats cost more too, because the whole conversation is sent each time.
• If a message starts while you still have credits, it finishes. Your balance never goes below zero, so nothing carries over to the next day.

What Manas remembers

Manas remembers useful details you share, across chats, so you do not have to repeat yourself. It keeps only things you state clearly, such as your preferences, your work, your skills and interests, and useful context. It does not store guesses, and it removes details that are out of date or that you correct.

• You can turn memory off for yourself in your Manas settings.
• Do not share passwords or other secrets in a chat.

When Manas is busy

Claude and ChatGPT are shared by everyone at Kapiva, and up to 20 answers can be written at once on each. When they are all in use, your message waits up to 15 seconds for a free one; after that you get a clear message instead of an error, for example:

"Claude is busy right now (all 20 slots are in use). Please try again in about 20 seconds, or switch to another model from the model picker."

Wait a moment and send again, or switch model.

If something goes wrong

Your Google account is refused

Sign in with your @kapiva.in account. Other accounts cannot sign in.

"Email login is not allowed."

Use the Google button. Manas has no email and password sign-in.

"Insufficient funds. Balance: … Prompt tokens: … Cost: …"

You have used your allowance. Once a day has passed since your last top-up, send the message again. A new chat or a lighter model also uses less.

A "busy" message

Wait about 20 seconds and send again, or pick another model.

Manas does not load for a minute

Manas is probably being updated. Wait a minute and reload the page.
